Abstract

Unilever is a multinational company founded in 1930 by the merger of several food and cleaning product companies. From its origins, Unilever stood out for its policy of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), in particular for its philanthropic work.

In this case study, an analysis will be conducted on the aforementioned responsible policy. The authors will examine the different commitments, strategies and social campaigns that the company has carried out in the economic, social and environmental areas, which have allowed Unilever to become the leader in the consumer goods market.
