Vitoria-Gasteiz, administración pública responsable

Abstract

The public administrations are under obligation to show a greater commitment in terms of sustainability, financial reports and transparency of information. One of the mechanisms of administrative transparency that has acquired a significant importance during recent years thanks to growing use of information and communication technologies is the dissemination of public information via web pages.

Our work focuses on the field of Local Administration, very close to the citizens and therefore very receptive to any social demand, and in particular we will analyze the responsible actions that are carried out at the Local Government of Vitoria-Gasteiz, as well as information on Social Responsibility disclosed through ist web page. We have chosen this entity as a responsible administration since there are many actions that fall within the scope of the so-called socially responsible action.
