Colaboración intersectorial al servicio del tratamiento médico de infancia vulnerable: el programa ‘Viaje hacia la vida’ y su implementación en Galicia
Abstract
Viaje hacia la Vida (VHV) is a program developed since 1994 by Fundación Tierra de Hombres (TdH). It aims to provide appropriate medical and surgical treatment to children suffering from serious but curable pathologies and living in countries without access to the necessary medical means. This initiative is possible in Spain thanks to public- business-non-profit collaboration, in which hospitals, medical teams, volunteers and host families collaborate.
The main objectives of this teaching case consist on analyzing this cross-sector collaboration as well as the set of non-profit marketing strategies implemented by TdH in order to successfully develop its campaigns in Galicia.
