Companies are no longer valued for their commercial purpose, but also for their contribution to society. Nowadays there are many business projects that, despite having a commercial purpose, try to project themselves and support social causes.
To this end, an educational project has been developed with links to the CAAID association in favour of diabetes. The students of the Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Communication at a Spanish university have designed different proposals for the launch of a solidarity product linked to the subject of consumer behavior. The product consists of diabetic socks. The students' proposal should be tailored to a specific Central American country. In addition, it allows the student to generate empathy towards a particular disease. With this activity, students developed soft skills and put into practice their knowledge applied to a real application project.
