Abstract

Ministerio de Sanidad is a spanish government body in charge of public health and hygiene. Within this is the Plan Nacional Sobre Drogas, which works to prevent the consumption of these substances. They have carried out prevention campaigns in times of crisis due to a high consumption of different substances, and over time, both the tone and format of the campaigns and also the subject matter have changed as new addictions have appeared and generations have changed and evolved. In this case, the aim is to make a comparison between the first campaigns and the current ones, as well as a study of future addictions that are emerging among the new generations with the purpose of understanding the reasons behind the themes and formats of the campaigns run by the Ministerio de Sanidad.
