Calidad de servicio y stakeholders: Universidad de Córdoba (Colombia)
Abstract
This paper focuses on the study of the University of Córdoba, a public university in the Caribbean region of Colombia, and presents a brief description of how its strategies include an analysis of the dynamics of the stakeholders in face of their institutional challenges. This is framed in the importance achieved by marketing in the management of the higher education sector, providing tools to understand the quality of service with an emphasis on value creation.
Faced with the growing increase in society's demands regarding the university's role, together with a greater awareness of the importance of its role in the social and economic development of the countries, the purpose is to encourage the analysis of higher education and to foster debate on the concern of managing stakeholder in higher education as an essential part of the quality of service management.
