Abstract

The current financial crisis has provoked that the society questions the ethical values and the role that there have developed the different entities of the financial Spanish system. This fact has concerned seriously the image and prestige of the different entities that have been kept active after several consolidation processes. Nevertheless, in this case one shows how the small traditional banking has worked out strengthened thanks to the sustainability of a model of management applied from an eminently ethical not speculative perspective centred on the real economy and the assumption of tolerable risks, based on a socially responsible management. Among them, stands out Banca Pueyo that in spite of her small dimension continues in growth and has turned into one of the most solvent entities of the financial Spanish system.
