Extremadura Avante, S.L.U. Primera empresa pública certificada como socialmente responsable de la región de Extremadura (España)

Abstract

This work will analyze the case of Extremadura Avante, which was certified by the Junta de Extremadura as a socially responsible company in 2017, becoming the first public company to obtain this recognition in this Spanish Autonomous Community. This company has the mission of providing a comprehensive service to Extremadura companies, in order to accompany and promote all projects that add value and create sustainable wealth, with special attention to those related to sectors considered strategic in the region. Extremadura Avante, as a socially responsible company, can be considered an example of good practices in a region whose industrial and business sector is characterized by being mainly composed of micro-enterprises, promoting their competitiveness.
