Abstract

The textile industry is one of the most polluting industries in the planet. This industry, characterized by a model created for “use and disposal”, damages the environment and its resources. Moreover, it is also known for the poor conditions of the workers who produce any garment in the low cost market.

In this case study we analyze the Environmental Social Responsibility of Tequila Moon, a new company that sells garments respectful with the environment. Through the use of fibers such as bamboo, TENCEL or organic cotton, provides the customer with a garment that is not only ecological, but of great quality and comfort, since these fibers have unique qualities in the market.
