Abstract

The following case study covers the business strategies and labour practices that the local company in Burgos, Spain, Areas de Vending, carries out, always bearing in mind corporate social responsibility and sustainability in its business.

Therefore, it is worth mentioning that the objectives of the company go beyond mere numbers, but rather they are concerned with contributing something to society and behaving as one more of it, contributing to the creation of social and medioambiental value, beyond what is required by society. It has a proactive response capacity and integrates the CSR strategy as a fundamental objective. It carries out activities to improve the worker´s quality life, as well as consumer´s quality life, focusing on the local community.

It implements social policies with its particular values and beliefs through development measures and instruments to anticipe expectations obtaining results with a social impact that it is very notable, but difficult to quantify.
