Abstract

The present study evaluates the touristic complex “Santuario Diegueño” located in Tecate. Baja California, Mexico. This company is guided by a functional organizational design, oriented to the customer care of guests who enjoy a Mediterranean weather and cultural and business turism; due to its location and closeness with the Border crossing of the United States of America, the convention center acts as a focal spot as well as a gathering locale.

The principal features analyzed under the corporation’s social responsibility aspect where: creation of employment for the community, usage of locally artisan products (particularly wine and beer) and the encouragement of consumption of regional cuisine in their customers.
