Abstract

Educo is an NGO for global cooperation whose objective is development and humanitarian actions in favour of children and their rights, especially those related to an unbiased education. They have been working for more than 25 years in Spain and countries of Africa, America and Asia.

This institution has distributed meals to the most disadvantaged families for years with Becas Comedor Educo, but this situation has worsened after the recent arrival of the global pandemic called COVID-19. The quality of life of these homes has required an extra help and Educo has been able to react to the “Becas Comedor en Casa” project.

These food allowance have managed to double the number of families to whom it offered help before this situation occurred and they reflected a clear caring philosophy.
